Single-exe with no installation necessary. Unzip to any folder and create a shortcut on the desktop, open it, select a language in the "Tools"-->"Options", then you can enjoy it :-)
This program runs under Win2000/XP/2003/Vista/Win7 (32bit platform).
How to upgrade from 3.1.x: Unzip and use the new minipad2.exe to overwrite the old one. During the first start the software will automatically convert the old data files to new formats, while making an backup of original files under /olddata.
How to upgrade from 2.3: v3.2 does not support to upgrade directly from v2.3. Please first download v3.1.6 from "Old Versions", overwrite minipad2.exe, double-click to start, then the data will be upgraded to v3.1. Later you can upgrade from 3.1 to 3.2.
Remark: The program with higher version (e.g., minipad2 v3.2.0) can use the language file with lower version (v3.1.6) without any problem, but in the UI there may be a few new items remains in English.
How to update your translation (for old translators):
If you want to update your translation (e.g., 3.1.6 --> 3.2.0), just download the 3.1.6 language file, modify the English items which is not translated yet, then send it to me. Thank you!
How to translate (for new translators):
If you want to translate the software into other languages, please download the following file:
Translate all the English items into your language (The lines start with // are notation lines and need not to be translated. And please do not modify the numeric ids like 2000=),
save the file as XXX.lng (XXX means your language, e.g., French, Deutsch, Japanese...) with UTF16LE (Unicode) encode, and put the file in minipad2/lang. Then in the software go to "Options"-->"Appearance" and choose your language,
Click "OK" to exit the options dialog, then you'll see the UI are in your language...
After you finished the translation if you want to share it with other people, please send the file to xiaodiega@gmail.com, then I'll put it here for download.
